Job Overview
CSL Australia is seeking a permanent full-time Electro-Technical Officer to join our cement carrier Goliath. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this role involves maintaining electrical and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining the vessel's electrical and electronic systems.
  • Adopting safe working practices at all times.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance and testing of electrical equipment.
  • Assisting with other maintenance tasks as required.
  • Carrying out first-level maintenance on communications, radio, and navigation equipment.


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • Educational requirement: as per AMSA Marine Order 72 – Electro-Technical Officer (required).
  • AMSA Electro-Technical Officer CoC/CoR Unlimited.
  • Minimum 12 months relevant experience (required).
  • Certificate of Safety Training (STCW) (desirable).
  • Work Safely at Heights Certification (desirable).
  • Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification (desirable).
  • A Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) (required).
  • Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights.
