Job Summary:
A leading global financial services firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their middle office team as a Middle Office Operations Specialist. This role will be responsible for providing accurate cash forecasts to clients and working closely with internal departments to resolve any issues that may arise.
About the Role:
- Provide accurate cash forecasts to clients on a daily basis
- Release cash forecast reports to clients in a timely manner
- Monitor the movement between each intraday cash forecast and follow up with internal departments as needed
- Act as a point of contact for clients with queries related to cash forecasting
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve any issues that may arise
- Provide reconciliation between the cash forecast closing balance and the actual balance the following day
- Process distributions for selected clients' cash pools to their members
- Manage the cash operation group mailbox to ensure all incoming emails are read and actioned in a timely manner
- Provide a monthly performance return reporting of cash pools to clients
- Provide report TM trades to clients on a monthly basis
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in an operational environment, ideally from a custodian, fund services, or fund manager
- Trade matching, cash forecasting, trade processing, corporate actions, and reconciliation background ideal
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Swift and Hi-Portfolio (preferable)
- Intermediate level of MS Word and Excel
- Experience with Tradeflow
