About Our Fixed Income & Currencies Team

We are a part of the Global Markets division and service the real economy by building a better and sustainable future through responsible and innovative hedging, across FX, rates, and investment solutions.

We work internationally with teams based in various locations to leverage Societe Generale's expertise in both developed and emerging markets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Growing business opportunities with Australian Corporates and developing public and private deals.
  • Originating business opportunities with existing and new clients and providing advisory on risk management and building deal pipelines in collaboration with Global Markets teams.
  • Providing strong pricing and execution abilities in FX and Interest rates derivatives, as well as structured investment solutions.
  • Preparing pitchbooks, market comments, term Sheets, and other marketing materials.
  • Driving sales initiatives and maintaining awareness of SG's FX & Rates strengths and offerings.
  • Maintaining connectivity with the market, understanding corporate client needs, and leveraging market intelligence to provide feedback internally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • At least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets.
  • Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with Australian Corporate clients and technical knowledge on Fixed Income and Currencies products.
  • Ability to extract value from relationships in terms of deals and market share.
  • Strong ability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
