About the Role

The Warehouse Attendant supports the Warehouse Coordinator in managing bulk beverage systems, dry/cold storage of food and beverages, chemicals, and consumables, ensuring adequate controls are in place for effective cellar and store operations.

Duties of a Warehouse Attendant include:

  • Completing delivery of requisitions to Food and Beverage outlets.
  • Assisting in daily banking and recording of kegs, post mix, and spirits.
  • Maintaining suitable stock levels and reordering all equipment and cellar supplies.
  • Conducting monthly stock control.
  • Receiving inventory delivered through the loading dock, accounting for items as stated on the invoice, and checking that purchase orders exist and match delivered quantities.
  • FOLLOWING dispensing measures as per procedures and necessary recording of waste items.
  • Performing daily routine checks of bars to ensure relevant cellar and post mix equipment is fully functional.

Requirements and Qualifications

An energetic individual with self-motivation, able to work with initiative and minimum directions. This role suits someone committed to providing a high standard of work while balancing different priorities and unexpected challenges.

  • Familiarity with inventory software.
  • Experience in a cellar/stores environment (preferred).
  • Commitment to safety and a safe workplace.
  • Current forklift license.
  • Current RSA competency card.
  • Understanding of food hygiene requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and high-level accuracy.
  • Willingsness to undertake a pre-work medical and police check.
  • Commitment to work in a team environment.
