Experienced Decorative Painter

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced decorative painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and decorating, with excellent knowledge of techniques and materials.
About the Role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives.
- They will also be responsible for hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges.
- Cleaning equipment and work areas is also an essential part of the job.
- Preparing surfaces before painting, including filling, sanding and gaping, is crucial to ensuring high-quality results.
- FOLLOWING OHS AND ALL SAFETY PROCEDURES IS MANDATORY
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in painting and decorating is required.
- A white card is a must-have qualification for this role.
- A yellow card is desirable but not essential.
- Spraying experience is seen as an added advantage.
