About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team on a temporary basis. As a key liaison between Sales and Supply teams, you will be responsible for delivering an aligned monthly/rolling 12-month Demand Plan and Supply capacity review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Demand Planning process
  • Optimise inventory levels and short-dated stock
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective stock holdings throughout the network
  • Manage KPIs and work with Marketing and Sales team to review and create forecasts for existing and new products
  • Upload forecasts to D365 and maintain data integrity and accuracy
  • Manage inventory requirements to support product launches and manage change controls
  • Ensure contractual volumes are met and highlight risks through the S&OP process
  • Manage new product launches and ensure all relevant functions are involved
Requirements
  • Strong Microsoft skills, particularly Excel
  • Advanced planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong team player capable of working independently
  • Ability to influence staff at all levels
  • 3-5 years experience in Demand Planning in FMCG
  • Experience in Supply Planning would be advantageous
  • 5-10 years minimum experience in a food manufacturing business or related industry
  • Experience using D365 and BI Reporting
