Job Opportunity

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to work as Cleaning Attendants in our aged care facilities located in Queanbeyan, NSW.

Duties Include
  • Cleaning in an aged care facility, including resident rooms, public areas, toilets, and dining rooms.
  • Laundering residents' linen and personal clothing.
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and participating in the infection control program.
  • Maintaining records of cleaning schedule duties.
  • Properly storing and using cleaning agents, adhering to correct quantities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills—proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Previous experience in cleaning and/or laundry is highly regarded.
  • Dedication and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Safe handling of chemicals.
  • Familiarity with Work, Health & Safety and Infection Control guidelines.
  • A high regard for elderly residents; previous experience in aged care cleaning is beneficial.
