Catering Industries Pty Ltd is a leading provider of contracted hospitality services (catering, cleaning, and laundry) to Australia's health and aged care, education, government, corporate, and resources sectors. We currently employ over 2,000 personnel across various operations in our active market.

Base award hourly rate for this role is $25.85 plus casual loading ($32.31 per hour Mon-Fri).

We are seeking Cleaning & Laundry Attendants to work in our clients' aged care facilities located in Queanbeyan, NSW.

Schedule

Multiple shifts across Monday to Sunday. (available in Casual/Part-time)

Weekend and Public Holidays Loadings apply.

*The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine, and provide a current Federal Police Check certificate, or be willing to apply for one.*

Duties Include
  • Cleaning in an aged care facility, including resident rooms, public areas, toilets, and dining rooms.
  • Responsible for laundering residents' linen and personal clothing.
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and participating in the infection control program.
  • Maintaining records of cleaning schedule duties.
  • Safe storage and use of cleaning agents, including correct quantities.
Key Attributes
  • Excellent communication skills—proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Previous cleaning and/or laundry experience highly regarded.
  • Dedication and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Safe use of chemicals.
  • Knowledge of Work, Health & Safety and Infection Control.
  • High respect for the elderly; experience in aged care cleaning is a bonus.
