About the Role

We are seeking passionate and experienced bus drivers to join our team at Busways in Ryde. As a bus driver with Busways, you will have the opportunity to service your community and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a bus safely and efficiently, ensuring the comfort and well-being of passengers
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Adhere to Busways' policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure working environment

Eligibility to Apply

  • A current and valid unrestricted driver's licence (Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid Licence highly desired)
  • A good driving history, with no major driving offenses
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with passengers and colleagues
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical check, criminal history check, and working with children check

Busways is a leading provider of public transport services in Western Sydney, North Shore and West, Central Coast, and North Coast. With a team of over 2,800 people, we pride ourselves on delivering a professional, reliable standard of service to our customers.

Hours of Work

Our drivers work a variety of shifts, including weekends, early morning, and late-night shifts. A large portion of shifts are worked as split shifts, with two portions of work covering peak service times. There are also opportunities for straight shifts, starting at varied times of the day.
