About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurosurgery Registrar to join our team at Norwest Private Hospital. As a key member of our Neurosurgery department, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced surgeons and gain valuable experience in managing patients on the ward and assisting in operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing surgical assistant skills in the operating theatre, reviewing patients in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit, and participating in Neurosurgery Department meetings and clinical teaching opportunities.

Requirements
  • AHPRA Registered Medical Practitioner with eligibility to work in Australia
  • Third year postgraduate (PGY3) or above
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in specialty
  • Recent experience working in Australia
  • Previous neurosurgery JMO experience highly desirable
  • Demonstrated commitment to entering the Neurosurgery training program
