Job Title: Lead Process Engineer
  • Job Type: Full Time – Permanent Role Based in Brisbane CBD

This is an exciting opportunity to work with varied clients and projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expertise and managing process design through engineering phases from concept/select, FEED through to detailed design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and manage process design through engineering phases.
  • Communicate with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage and track single-discipline projects.
  • Write technical reports as required.
  • Prepare proposals and tenders for new and ongoing works.
  • Provide technical support through the full lifecycle of the projects.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Process Engineering or equivalent with 15+ years experience in process design.
  • CPEng or CEng/RPEQ registration.
  • Excellent skills in using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, and DNV PHAST software packages.
  • Sound knowledge of process safety including risk identification and assessment.
  • Skills in preparing PFD's, P&ID's, heat and material balances, instruments and equipment data sheets, utilities flow diagrams, and chemical consumption/effluent summaries.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • A confident communicator and team player with the ability to drive projects and clients' success.
