About the Role

Jensen Hughes is a leading provider of Building Code consultancy services, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Access Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality advisory services to clients, including advice on the Access provisions of the Building Regulations and other associated documents.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the Directors and Managers with delivering services within timeframes, cost, and quality.
  • Source your own clients and identify opportunities for new business or clients.
  • Develop fee proposals and liaise with clients to identify project scope and client needs.
  • Provide proactive project delivery and client communication.
  • Review, assess, and provide recommendations on various stages of developments, including out-of-scope works, on-site assessments, and reporting.
  • Manage your workflow and work output within client deadlines.
  • Achieve a minimum monthly invoicing target.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

  • Advice and interpretation of the Access provisions of the Building Regulations and other associated documents.
  • Advice on Universal Design and DDA.
  • Advice and interpretation of the Livable Housing Design Standards.
  • Assistance in the application of Access Regulations to project design and development.
  • Participation in negotiations with Building Regulatory Authorities.
  • Appraisal and assessment of Development Approval conditions.
