Cloud Architecture Leader

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) drives revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. This team aids customers in successfully implementing cloud technologies by partnering with internal teams and leveraging AWS tools and products.

You'll craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures addressing customers' business problems as a Senior Solution Architect. As a key member of this team, you'll have the opportunity to innovate daily and define the future of cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help customers plan their successful cloud journey and solve complex technical challenges.
  • Craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures, driving technical solutions discussions with customer teams.
  • Build relationships to understand customers and partners, using interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders from technical teams to executives.
  • Act as a thought leader in the wider community, educating others on best practices and presenting at events.
  • Shape the direction of products and services by gathering feedback from customers.

Broad Responsibilities

  • Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
  • Develop a deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad knowledge of how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in technology domain areas, specifically in architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers.
  • Experience working with Federal government.
  • Able to present to technical and business audiences.
