UGL Defence Sector Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Trades / Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians to join our Operations & Maintenance team at the Edinburgh RAAF Base in SA.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Australian Defence environment, supporting the national security requirements of the Nation. You will be part of a core crew of UGL technicians, working on various sites across Adelaide with occasional regional travel throughout SA.

The Role:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment.
  • Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment.
  • Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment.
  • Support subcontracted work packages as required.
  • Collaborate with a great crew of people from UGL and the Defence sector.

  • A competitive hourly rate of $44.28 - $51.26 p/h, plus superannuation and allowances.

Requirements:

  • A-grade electrical licence with relevant post-trade experience.
  • Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas.
  • Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) training is essential.
  • Cert III / IV Instrumentation is advantageous.
  • Confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded.
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything you do.
  • You must hold, or have the ability to obtain, appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
