The role of Freelance Mid-Weight Animator/Motion Designer is now available. We are looking for a skilled and experienced motion graphics professional to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

As a Freelance Mid-Weight Animator/Motion Designer, you will be responsible for producing engaging and high-quality 2D & 3D animation for social media content, digital out-of-home advertising, and broadcast advertising material. You will work closely with the animation and broader agency team to add value to jobs and contribute to the broader culture of the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce engaging and high-quality 2D & 3D animation">
  • Clearly communicate with the animation and broader agency team">
  • Adding value to jobs with a love of experimenting with new styles and techniques">

  • Develop motion graphics skills and advanced understanding of animation and design principles">
  • Collaborate with creatives on developing storyboards where needed">
  • Interpreting feedback and making adjustments as needed">
  • Maintain excellent organisation, communication, time management, and collaboration skills">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly developed motion graphics skills and advanced understanding of animation and design principles">
  • 3-4 years industry experience in a studio/agency environment">
  • Advanced level of knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop)">
  • Natural problem solver who is solutions-driven when dealing with technical issues and difficult feedback">
  • Excellent organisation, communication, time management, and collaboration skills">
  • Experience in mentoring junior staff">
  • Must be Melbourne based">
  • Required to have an ABN">
