Senior Animator Job Description

Senior animators are responsible for crafting game motions that enhance 1st person gameplay mechanics, in-game cinematics, viewmodel / weapon animations or 3rdperson vignettes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of camera animation and cinematic framing, as well as shot continuity and facial animation.

Responsibilities include responding to feedback, iterating multiple times to achieve polish levels required for AAA titles, troubleshooting tool implementations and spearheading workflow improvements to increase team efficiency and creativity.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Use Motion Capture editing and Key Framing to create engaging game motions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in camera animation, cinematic framing, shot continuity, and facial animation.
  • Respond to feedback and iterate on work to meet high quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot tool implementations and improve workflows to boost team productivity.
  • Collaborate with production to assess performance concerns, scope, and project risks.
