Job Title: Companion Relationship Facilitator
">About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering team in building human-robot relationships. As a Companion Relationship Facilitator, you will work alongside an emotionally intelligent humanoid companion robot, Abi, to engage with residents and patients in nursing homes and children's hospitals.
You will lead group sessions and one-on-one interactions with Abi, fostering connections and creating enjoyable experiences for all participants.
">Your Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Group Sessions: Lead engaging activities with Abi, including games and exercises to stimulate cognitive and social responses
- Conduct One-on-One Interactions: Facilitate meaningful conversations with residents and patients to enhance their experience with Abi
- Working with Technology: Act as a facilitator for Abi the companion robot
- Monitor and Adapt: Assess participants' needs and responses, adapting activities to individual preferences and abilities
- Manage Session Logistics: Ensure sessions start and end on time, set up equipment, communicate with care home professionals, and provide structured feedback for continuous improvement
">What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who possesses excellent people skills, strong verbal communication skills, and a genuine interest in technology. You should be extroverted, energetic, and caring, with a desire to contribute to residents' and patients' quality of life.
A valid driver's license is required, and preferred qualifications include psychology, anthropology, social work or caregiving, drama or theatre, or public-speaking. If you have relevant experience, that's great However, we value enthusiasm and a belief in our mission above all else.

We are looking for someone who can build trust and nurture relationships with frontline staff, listen, identify needs, and collaborate for shared success. Strong organizational skills are essential to juggle multiple priorities and ensure smooth experiences.
You should also be interested in using technology to foster genuine human connections and champion Abi's empathetic purpose. Punctuality and reliability are crucial to keep initiatives on track, and a friendly demeanor and positive attitude will make participants feel heard and supported.
