Residential Aged Care Nurse

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to residents in a residential aged care setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough assessments of resident needs and developing personalized care plans.
- Providing direct nursing care that is safe, effective, and aligned with best practice principles.
- Collaborating with care staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Participating in the development of quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and relevant experience in aged care or hospital settings.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and colleagues.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with older adults and a commitment to delivering person-centered care.
- Knowledge of Australian Aged Care Quality Standards and ability to contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
