Employment Opportunity:

 

Join us as an Executive Director Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing, leading the transformation of our services to address health equity and improve outcomes for Aboriginal communities.

As a key member of our Executive Leadership team, you will drive shared decision-making and innovative collaborations to elevate the focus on Aboriginal expertise. You will inform and lead how we engage with local Aboriginal communities and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership, direction and guidance to our Chief Executive, the Executive Leadership Team and other key stakeholders in relation to priorities for Aboriginal Health.

  • Support the development and implementation of culturally acceptable plans, policy, services and programs that achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes for local Aboriginal people and communities.

  • Lead the implementation of state guidelines, programs and priorities; balancing the use of evidence-based approaches with innovative solutions that work with local communities.

  • Monitor and evaluate services and programs to measure Aboriginal and population health outcomes against agreed national, state and local indicators.

  • Oversee expenditure, revenue and activity to ensure efficient, effective and sustainable service delivery occurs within allocated budget and delegation.
