Job Summary

As an Assistant Restaurant Operations Manager at W Sydney, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Your primary responsibilities will include successfully launching and establishing the restaurant concept, building a strong team of skilled talent, implementing high levels of service standards, creating training plans to upskill the talent, and working closely with the restaurant manager and culinary team to curate exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of restaurant team, handling talent questions and concerns, monitoring performance expectations, and providing feedback based on observation of service behaviors.
  • Conduct day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring all talent have proper supplies, equipment, and wardrobe, communicating with Chef and Restaurant Manager on issues regarding beverage and food quality and service levels, and ensuring compliance with all restaurant policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels, supervising talent levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met, and encouraging talent to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
