Electrical Service Technician Role

As an Electrical Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in servicing and maintaining electrical plant and equipment on customer sites.

  • Safety Leadership: Lead and contribute to a safety-first culture by demonstrating leadership skills and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on electrical equipment as required.
  • Repair damaged or faulty equipment using accepted trade practices.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintain effective communication with customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers through excellent service and timely updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical stocks and spare parts.
  • Utilize electronic systems for managing service information and reporting.
  • Prepare detailed reports on service repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct thorough electrical fault analysis and diagnostics to rectify issues efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Trade qualification in electrical services.
  • Current electrical license.
  • Experience in power generation is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
  • A proven track record with equipment hire product range.
  • Intermediate computer skills for managing electronic systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current QLD driver's license and forklift certification are advantageous.
