We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex briefs and craft thoughtful and accessible designs that put the user at the centre of the experience.
The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for the end-to-end design of our digital mental health products. They will collaborate with product, engineering, and youth participation teams to design, test, and iterate solutions that balance quality, speed, and user needs.
Key responsibilities include leading and delivering user-centred product design from discovery research through to production-ready solutions, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity. The successful candidate will also advocate for users by applying qualitative and quantitative insights to guide design decisions and strategic product direction.
In addition, the Senior Product Designer will maintain and evolve the design system, uphold design principles, and contribute to peer-review and quality-assurance processes. They will also contribute to team leadership through mentoring, onboarding, and fostering a collaborative, high-impact design culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience with digital product design and strong visual design and user interface skills. You will also require extensive experience as a product or interaction designer with a proven ability to solve complex design problems and deliver high-quality, user-centred digital products.
Other key requirements include proficiency in accessibility, inclusive design, and industry-standard design tools, with strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills. You will also need to be skilled in iterative design within agile environments, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and guiding stakeholders at all levels.
