Mechanical Fitter

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Komatsu Australia's reman facility in Mackay. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for repairing and overhauling Komatsu mining equipment, as well as refurbishing major components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical repairs and overhauls on Komatsu mining equipment
- Refurbish major components to meet OEM standards
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve zero-harm culture
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Trade qualifications
- Prior experience in workshop overhauls and mining machinery
- Desirable: experience working within OEM and holding Doggers and Forklift licence
