Senior Data Governance Specialist

This position plays a significant role in the future of a business with over 200 years of history. The successful candidate will have strong experience in data management, including developing and implementing models and change. They will also have expertise in data governance, information management, analysis, design, tooling, and lineage, as well as data management principles and capabilities such as reference data, master data, data quality, and metadata management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing the operating model and operational excellence for enterprise reference data capability.
  • Analysing, designing, developing, and uplifting reference data processes and tools.
  • Developing, maintaining, and uplifting ERD artefacts, documentation, and reference material.
  • Performing effective change management and supporting impacted stakeholders through proactive consultation and communication.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of business impact due to data risk.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering and implementing models and change.
  • Expertise in data governance, information management, analysis, design, tooling, and lineage.
  • Strong experience in data management principles and capabilities such as reference data, master data, data quality, and metadata management.
