Audio Systems Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Audio Systems Specialist to join our team in Melbourne.

The role is based in our IP-enabled facility, where you will work collaboratively with engineers in Sydney.

This position involves maintaining audio systems, ensuring 100% uptime for all events and projects.

Your responsibilities will include planning, setup, and testing of systems for events and projects, as well as day-to-day connectivity and quality assurance of audio for Outside Broadcast and Studio productions.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for technical quality control and management of audio systems on Hub productions.

You will ensure the audio systems are stable and responsive to HUB and field systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining broadcast equipment within the facility
  • Providing technical assistance for mobile fleet communications and audio systems integration to the Hubs
  • Effective collaboration with Melbourne and Sydney Hub teams

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Technical or associate degree desired, however all relevant experience will be considered
  • Connectivity, configuration, and operation of RTS and Riedel communications systems
  • Understanding of audio console connectivity, configuration, and operations, with particular focus on LAWO and Calrec
  • Prior experience in the broadcast industry
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
