We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Slurry Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving technology advancements and innovations in hydrotransport, slurry pipelines, and slurry pumping.

\

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role. They will possess deep knowledge of a wide variety of pumping solutions and equipment, flow sheets, slurry characterisation, survey, and test work.

\

You will be working closely with our Technology and Process Innovation team to lead slurry solutions and hydrotransport design, product concepts developments, and integrated solutions for slurry solutions. You will also provide subject matter expertise to sales opportunities, particularly on a flow sheet or solution level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
  • Support technology scouting and assessment of new technology in slurry solutions, including pumping, hydrotransport, etc.
  • Lead enterprise technology roadmap development and execution relating to slurry solutions technologies.
  • Develop selection tools for slurry solutions, including techno-economic evaluation.
  • Provide effective leadership by directing engineers and designers within the technical team and collaborating with stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is required.
  • Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering is highly desirable.
  • Chartered registered engineer certification is desirable.
