About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SMP Project Engineer to join our team at Linkforce, a leading integrated maintenance, engineering, and project services delivery business. As a SMP Project Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects across various client sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and administer vendor orders to optimize resource utilization and ensure compliance with timeframes.
  • Prepare detailed work-packs and assist with project plans, schedules, and reporting.
  • Interpret standard specifications and drawings to reflect current industry standards.
  • Identify, investigate, record, monitor, and report on vendor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Ensure all variations to scope and specifications are approved and documented.
  • Provide technical support to the Site team.
  • Review completed site quality documentation and compile close-out documentation for clients.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Fixed Plant Mining or Construction.
  • The ability to expedite vendors and facilitate sub-contractor inspections.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to build positive and professional relationships with clients.
  • High-quality work under strict deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera 6 is desirable.
  • A current unrestricted Australian Driver's License.
