Indoor Mapping Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an Indoor Mapping Specialist. As a key member of our mapping team, you will be responsible for surveying indoor locations using a specialized app on your iPhone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect all necessary equipment from designated points or contact persons.
  • Attend a 30-minute online training session prior to the site visit.
  • Arrive at scheduled sites on time, equipped with the required gear and a fully charged phone.
  • Utilize the provided Mapping iPhone to record surroundings, marking pinpoints on a map in the app.
  • Maintain continuous communication with our remote call centre via Google Meet throughout the process.
  • Ensure the phone and power bank are fully charged at the end of each day.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A strong sense of direction and orientation to accurately mark pinpoints on a map.
  • Patience and attention to detail, with precision being crucial to project progress.
  • The ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and navigate around obstacles.
  • Comfort with remote guidance and ongoing communication with an operator.
  • A current valid driver's license and vehicle ownership.

Desirable Candidate Profile:

  • A dedicated individual available to map multiple stores in their area.
  • Experience with mobile apps, preferably on an iPhone.
  • An interest in developing a system that enhances indoor navigation.
