About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Grant Manager - Northern Territory to join our team. As a key member of our grants management team, you will play a crucial role in securing and managing grant funding that supports our vital community services.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and securing grant funding opportunities that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Preparing, submitting, and managing grant applications to ensure timely delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Ensuring accurate financial reporting and liaising with finance teams to maintain grant administration systems.
  • Supporting program managers with budget planning and grant administration, fostering effective collaboration across departments.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with government agencies and non-government organizations to strengthen funding opportunities.
  • Assisting with community grant programs and special purpose audits, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma (or higher qualification) in Finance or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in grant administration, financial planning, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to secure and manage large-scale grants.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous communities and cultural considerations is highly valued.
