The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Funding Coordinator - Community Services to join our team. This role is crucial in securing, managing, and administering grant funding that supports our vital community services. Reporting to the Grants Manager, you will ensure compliance with funding agreements and work closely with program managers across various sectors.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and securing grant funding opportunities.
  • Preparing, submitting, and managing grant applications.
  • Ensuring compliance with grant funding contractual obligations.
  • Preparing financial reports and liaising with finance teams.
  • Supporting program managers with budget planning and grant administration.
  • Maintaining grant administration systems.
  • Liaising with government agencies and non-government organizations to strengthen funding opportunities.
  • Assisting with community grant programs and special purpose audits.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma (or higher qualification) in Finance or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in grant administration, financial planning, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to secure and manage large-scale grants.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous communities and cultural considerations is highly valued.
