Role Overview

The IPEF Fund for Technical Assistance and Economic Cooperation (IFTAEC) supports implementation of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework through technical assistance and capacity-building projects. As Senior Program Manager, you will lead program delivery, ensuring alignment with Australian Government policies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead program team to deliver activities effectively, efficiently, and within contracted milestones;
  • Work closely with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to ensure policy alignment;
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including DFAT representatives;
  • Provide regular program updates and briefings as required;
  • Design and implement HR and project management systems fostering continuous improvement and inclusion;
  • Travel locally and internationally as needed.

About You

You will bring prior experience leading complex development programs, navigating government machinery, and understanding trade and Australia's development priorities. Excellent interpersonal skills and cross-cultural experience are essential. Key requirements include:

  • Experience working with donors and governments in the Indo-Pacific Region;
  • Understanding of compliance requirements and risk management practices;
  • Highly developed negotiation and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
