Compensation Package
The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000, offering a competitive compensation package with a work-life balance off–7 on/ 7 off roster and day/night rotations.
Job Summary
This dynamic medical emergency response specialist will provide first response to incidents on site, assist in emergency situations, and support training and HSE activities in a mining environment. The successful applicant will be part of a team providing essential medical support and ensuring site safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first response to incidents on site, utilizing your experience in Medical and Rescue Emergency Response & Injury and Health Management.
- Collaborate with a team of Paramedics, Nurses, and ESOs to respond to emergency situations, leveraging your skills and expertise to ensure effective outcomes.
- Support training and HSE activities as required, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to best practices within the organization.
- Degree in Paramedicine and AHPRA Registration are essential requirements for this role.
- You will also need to possess an Australian Driver's License – C Class, open license (Manual, Heavy Rigid is desirable or willing to obtain).
- Proof of right to work in Australia and current up-to-date immunisations – Tetanus, Hepatitis A & B are mandatory.
- In addition, HLTAID014 Provide advanced first aid, HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy, and HLTAID011 Provide first aid (Desirable) are important qualifications.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite is also necessary.
- All successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment Medical and National Police Check.
