Financial Controller for Properties

We are seeking a professional and experienced individual to take charge of full cycle property management accounting.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, set priorities, and adhere to deadlines.
- Perform comprehensive accounting tasks including accounts payable, journal entries, monthly accruals, and reconciliations.
- Generate accurate monthly Rent Roll reviews.
- Prepare monthly tenant percentage rent calculations and billings.
- Enter daily cash receipts/tenant rents and monitor A/R balances.
- Maintain a detailed property management sub-ledger including lease and billing information.
- Calculate monthly property management fees; process payments.
- Prepare month-end reporting packages, review variances; distribute as required.
- Prepare complex annual NNN and utility reconciliations and related billings for Office and Retail tenants.
- Process monthly cash analysis, Partner distributions.
- Coordinate quarterly lender draws.
- Prepare annual work papers and reconciliations for year-end tax returns.
- Develop annual budget, quarterly financial forecasts.
- Respond to audit inquiries from external auditors, owners, partners.
- Analyze new retail and office leases; adjust tenant billings based on thorough understanding of lease terms.
