Transportation Associate

We are seeking a reliable and efficient transportation professional to deliver pathology samples, specimens, blood products, X-rays, vaccines, and clinical waste between medical facilities.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick-up and delivery of pathology samples, specimens, blood products, X-rays, vaccines, and clinical waste
  • Liaising with referring medical practitioners and medical liaison officers
  • Preparation and delivery of reports and stock control in main laboratory
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and integrity
  • Following operating procedures to complete correct specimen coding documentation
About You:
  • Valid open Australian driver's license with an excellent driving record
  • Ability to work various shifts, including rostered weekends and public holidays
  • Great interpersonal skills for liaising with different stakeholders and strong written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills, juggling up to 30 stops per day
  • Physical capability to handle equipment weighing regularly up to 10-15kg
  • Ability to follow instructions and use initiative to make sound decisions
