We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Eastern Health. As a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing neurological assessment and rehabilitation services to clients in their homes or in our centre.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy services to clients with neurological conditions, including stroke rehabilitation.
- Work collaboratively with a Senior Clinician Physiotherapist to provide services to clients recently discharged from hospital.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in neurological rehabilitation to provide high-quality care.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Current Victorian driver's license.
- Experience in neurological rehabilitation, with a focus on stroke rehabilitation.
- Dynamic and enthusiastic team presence, with ability to work a Saturday roster.
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based client care and ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.
- Advanced skills in assessment and management of stroke rehabilitation, including centre-based and home-based therapy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in this role.
