Post Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to undertake a Post Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing. This program is designed for Registered Nurses with minimum of 2 years acute nursing experience, who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in critical care nursing.
- 12 months program with flexible part-time hours
- Collaboration with La Trobe University
- Rotations to ICU, Cardiac theatre, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory
- Competencies and hurdles assessed onsite by Clinical Educator
The successful applicants will have excellent communication skills and a motivation to continued professional development. They will be supported with our well-established structured program, which includes rotations to various clinical areas and the opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills and knowledge required to care for complex cardiac patients.
Key Learnings:
- Advanced electrocardiography
- Complex pharmacological management
- Arrhythmia interventions including advanced pacing concepts
- Post-operative cardiothoracic surgery
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with minimum of 2 years acute nursing experience
- Previous cardiac nursing experience is desirable
