Job Description

The role of the Careers Counsellor involves providing expert guidance and support to students in their future career pathways. This encompasses developing a comprehensive program based on industry standards, as outlined by the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA) Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners.

Key responsibilities also include forging partnerships with external organisations, coordinating large-scale events such as the CGS Career Expo, and establishing alumni initiatives.

Additionally, the Careers Counsellor will provide one-on-one counselling services to Middle and Senior School students, offering tailored advice and support to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.
