Job Overview

At Charterhouse, we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. This is a 6-month contract paying $42.93 per hour + super.

About the Role

  • Maintain and administer human resources system documentation, ensuring that policies and procedures are properly communicated to employees.
  • Provide expert advice on relevant HR, recruitment, and industrial information, staying up-to-date with legislative changes and internal procedures.
  • Action all internal and external correspondence and documentation accordingly, ensuring seamless communication within the organization.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and delivery of operational aspects of the Workforce Management Plan, contributing to the effective management of HR, recruitment, and industrial activities.
  • Promote and coordinate recruitment activities, identifying top talent and streamlining the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement Council's annual Employee Development System process, fostering a culture of growth and development.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources, recruitment, or a related field (Diploma or above) or significant experience in HR and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and provide sound solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary human resource practices and current issues, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated at $43,000-$50,000 per annum, based on the hourly rate and location. Additional benefits include flexible work hours, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a supportive team environment.
