Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CSSD professional to join our team as a supervisor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, care and handling of all surgical instruments, sterile stock and equipment in line with competencies and company policies.

  • Maintaining a safe clean environment using authorized cleaning products and adhering to Infection Control Guidelines.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of Australian Standards for CSSD.
  • Initiating and maintaining effective communication lines and teamwork within the CSSD and Operating Theatres.
  • Providing technical support and advice to ensure safe standards are maintained.
  • Overseeing high-standard sterilisation services to the operating theatre and other clinical departments.
  • Ensuring compliance with AS 5369:2023 standard in planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of cleaning and sterilisation procedures.
  • Providing strong clinical leadership and direction to CSSD staff and technicians.
Requirements

You will need to hold a Certificate III in Sterilization Services and preferably have experience in a CSSD Supervisory role. Excellent interpersonal skills, highly developed customer service skills, and the ability to prioritise and organise work independently are also essential.
