Your Opportunity

As a Tax Specialist, you will work in a dynamic, fun, and supportive team of skilled professionals in a highly confidential internal service role. Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for discretionary trusts, companies, and individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for discretionary trusts, companies, and individuals
  • Provide taxation advice with respect to tax matters commonly identified in a business services client base
  • Project management of the annual compliance process for a large number of client groups
  • Providing personalized structuring advice
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new clients
  • Training, review, mentoring, and providing feedback to more junior team members

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Intermediate experience with the preparation and review of financial statements prepared in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and Australian income tax returns for companies, trusts, and individuals
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure to specific deadlines
  • Friendly, professional attitude, pro-active, self-starter with a collaborative team player approach
  • High standard of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism
