We are seeking a highly skilled editor to lead the development and production of First Nations authored programs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver innovative, entertaining, and impactful content reflecting diverse representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Oversight of editorial standard and delivery of distinctive First Nation voices and perspectives.
  • Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and industry partners locally and internationally.

About the Role:

The Commission Editor will work closely with stakeholders to develop and produce high-quality content that showcases the unique perspectives of First Nations authors. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the Australian media landscape.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in editing and producing high-quality content for television or digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing editorial strategies that meet business objectives.
