Interior Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Interior Construction Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects from inception to completion.

Your primary focus will be on managing the planning, execution, and completion of interior construction projects, ensuring they meet contractual obligations, budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

You will be responsible for effectively managing project teams and subcontractors to achieve optimal outcomes, while maintaining a strong focus on procurement, cost control, and risk management.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple interior construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, including resource allocation and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication within the project team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including project schedules, budgets, and progress updates.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to continuously improve project delivery and performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in fit-out/refurbishment projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project financial management, forecasting, procurement, contract management, schedule management, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Highly analytical and innovative problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • A solid understanding of construction processes and methodologies, including Building Code and WHS legislation.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Project Management.
  • White card and National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain).
