Community Outreach Specialist

The North-South Corridor project is a significant infrastructure development that will have a lasting impact on the community.

As part of this project, we are seeking an experienced Community Outreach Specialist to support our team in delivering effective community engagement strategies and activities within their designated precinct.

This role involves fostering positive relationships with local stakeholders, working closely with the construction team, and ensuring minimal community disruption.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, journalism, stakeholder management or marketing, with 3-5 years of experience in community engagement, including at least 2 years in an advisory capacity.

They will possess excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Develop strategies to identify and mitigate stakeholder and community issues.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

  • Foster collaboration between the project construction team and other stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice and support on community and stakeholder activities.
  • Prepare high-quality communication materials.
  • Manage responses to project-related communications.
