Lead Property Manager - Leasing and Portfolio Expertise

This role involves leading the management of a state-wide radio telecommunications leasing portfolio, ensuring compliance and protection of state assets through lease and licence agreements.

  • Negotiating complex and sensitive agreements to ensure accurate reflection of market values;
  • Engaging consultants as required for expert advice and interpreting their reports to inform decision-making;
  • Managing rental levels in accordance with current market standards, overseeing rent reviews, lease renewals, and lease options to maximize value;

The successful candidate will provide high-level advice to leadership and customer agencies on property and leasing work programs, leveraging expertise in strategic initiatives.

A key requirement is to prepare professional correspondence and documentation on a wide range of property management topics, including briefing notes and budget submissions.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for building and maintaining positive relationships with various groups.

The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as business or information technology, with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.

A 'C' class driver's licence is also required for this position.

The role demands strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving abilities, along with a proactive approach to service delivery and continuous improvement.
