About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Blast Engineering Solutions Specialist to deliver best practice blast engineering solutions and support to achieve desired customer design objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality blast engineering solutions and support to meet customer needs.
- Provide professional technical services in the field, as demonstrated by feedback from shotfirers and customers.
- Develop and implement quality documents such as Mining and Quarry Management Plans, Blasting Methodologies, and Blasting Management Plans.
- Manage opportunities for blasting result improvement by monitoring, editing, and archiving all blasting videos submitted by shotfirers.
- Present analytical data to customers demonstrating current cost parameters and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical consultancy experience in blast design, technical support, and MHF Operations.
- A tertiary education in a Mining related degree or equivalent.
- A Shot firer license.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the mining and/or quarrying industry.
- The ability to obtain national police check clearance and possess a current Australian Open Class Manual Drivers License.
