About the Role

This part-time role involves delivering tailored care and support to residents living with dementia in a residential home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, life engagement, and supporting residents with varying levels of dementia.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services such as showering, grooming, and toileting.
  • Foster life engagement through activities and social interactions.
  • Support residents with dementia, recognizing and responding to changes in their condition within your skill set.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a positive impact on their lives.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and show initiative when required.
  • Knowledge and experience working with individuals living with dementia and their needs.
  • Possession of relevant qualifications, such as Cert III or IV in Aged Care, is highly regarded.
