Field Service Mechanic Opportunity

Overview
Location: Kalgoorlie, WA. As a Field Service Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out warranty and customer repairs on a range of machinery and associated products in a timely and efficient manner. This is a customer-facing role that requires offering support and advice, as well as performing maintenance on the customer fleet.

Roster Options
  • 10 days on 4 days off - 10.5 hours each day (including 30 minutes unpaid break) - Residential
  • 14 days on 7 off - 10.5 hours each day (including 30 minutes unpaid break) - FIFO
Requirements
  1. Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Technology Trade Certificate or equivalent
  2. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an isolated and remote environment
  3. Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills through CAT SIS & CAT ET
  4. Previous port trade Caterpillar experience in a field service environment
  5. Demonstrated strong safety values
  6. Ability to organise work teams and delegate tasks
  7. Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  8. Must have a forklift ticket
  9. Must have a minimum LR Drivers Licence
  10. Caterpillar knowledge and maintenance experience
