At Credit Union Australia, we're committed to helping all Australians own their own home. As a Homes Lending Expert, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our purpose.

You'll be based in our Brisbane CBD branch, providing support and serving the local community as the first point of contact for our customers' retail banking and lending needs.

To succeed in this permanent full-time lending role, you'll need to demonstrate:

This is an exceptional opportunity to build an ever-growing business network and actively promote our products and services to deliver on our Purpose and increase our target market share.

You'll work closely with your Branch Manager to promote our brand and purpose to our existing and future customers, through regular strategic networking and business development activities.

As a senior team member in the retail network and a respected subject-matter expert, you'll be accountable for the day-to-day operations of your service, including meeting service standards and performance targets.

You'll maintain a strong knowledge of our lending and ancillary products, adopting sales strategies aligned with the divisional business plan.

We're looking for someone with a minimum 2 years' experience in mortgage lending/credit assessment, demonstrated experience in working with all banking products, and proven ability to network with key stakeholders and pursue leads.

Key qualifications include a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Financial Services Code and Acts, ASIC Tier 2 requirement or ability to rapidly acquire, and Cert IV in Mortgage Brokering (desirable).

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum.
