Workshop Leader

A senior role that drives business performance by overseeing a state-of-the-art workshop and equipment.

  • Developing and mentoring in-house and manufacturer staff.

As a Workshop Leader, you will work in a busy dealership environment, enjoying challenges and working collaboratively with a team to carry out practical tasks.

  • Manage daily tasks, productivity, and efficiency for a team of technicians.
  • Prioritize Repair Orders in the workshop to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with technical problem-solving and suggest additional work to the Service Adviser Team.
  • Ensure work repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures and maintain OEM workshop tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a full driver's license, cleanliness of the working area, and customer trucks.
  • Assist in expediting parts orders and notify the Service Advisor if delays are expected.
  • Give special attention to repeat repairs to avoid future comebacks.
  • Comply with procedures and policies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant vehicle trade qualifications.
  • Previous leadership experience (preferred not essential).
  • A current driver's license.
  • Air-Conditioning License (Preferred not Essential).
  • ASCIS & AUVIS License (Preferred not Essential).
  • Ability to follow work, health, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate care and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Can work well within large teams and follow processes and instructions.
