Community Program Manager

About the Role:

The Community Program Manager is responsible for leading the program area at a local community centre. This position plays a key role in supporting Centre Coordinators to deliver high-quality programs and services that meet the needs of the community.

The successful applicant will have significant leadership experience in a community service setting, with a proven ability to develop an organisational culture based on the YMCA mission and values.

  • Bachelor of Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related degree;
  • Current Open Queensland Drivers Licence;
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop an organisational culture based on the YMCA mission and values;
  • SIGNIFICANT leadership experience in a Community Service setting;
  • Experience working with Government, Community, and corporate stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of challenges facing youth/families and children;
  • Monitoring, evaluation, and learning skills;
  • Ability to manage human, financial, and physical resources;
  • Ability to produce high-level business cases;
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates;
  • Possess or willingness to obtain a Blue Card.
